Period Project LA (PPLA)
PPLA is a student-led mutual aid organization that strives to end period poverty and help bridge healthcare inequities impacting marginalized communities. We aim to end the stigma associated with menstruation and to advocate for the inequities in our healthcare system from the lack of access to education and free menstrual products. Through education and community service, we hope to end the stigma and period poverty and provide menstruators with the adequate resources they need to have a safe and healthy period. Community health and care are vital as we work together to re-imagine menstrual and reproductive health equity.
