EdP Summer Fellowships
Spend your summer as a tutor-mentor with local youth!
Through the EdP Summer Fellowship, Stanford students work intensively on a team for one of two programs: East Palo Alto Stanford Academy (EPASA) and High School Support Initiative (HSSI) Summer Saturdays.
Education Partnerships (EdP) is a program of the Haas Center that addresses educational equity in our local communities by engaging Stanford Students and community youth in tutoring and mentoring relationships.
About the Fellowship
This six-week fellowship provides opportunities to gain experience and skills in:
- Creating a unit plan and accompanying lesson plans
- Teaching classes and/or leading workshops and activities
- Mentoring youth
- Working with a team to implement an on-campus summer experience for youth
EPASA Summer for Middle School Students
Middle School students partcipate in a five-week, weekday program on campus in academic and enrichment programming. Stanford students develop and teaching skills, while gaining valuable insights into the larger social and political issues affecting student performance.
