Delta Kappa Epsilon, Sigma Rho Chapter

Service: Recognizing the unique social responsibilities held by members of fraternal organizations, we strive to instill a strong value for public service and philanthropy in Sigma Rho’s members. This value is reflected in activities the chapter organizes, participates in, and associates with. Our goal is to have collectively 40 hours of public service per quarter, and have the benefits of our efforts flow to primarily local organizations.

Inclusion: All male-identifying individuals are welcome to join our organization on the condition that they meet the qualifications of persistently being a “gentleman, scholar, and jolly good fellow.” Members of the Chapter should engage with all people with respect and dignity regardless of race, creed, ethnicity, culture, or socioeconomic status. Our goal is to foster a culture of belonging and allow each individual to flourish within the organization.

Progress: We bring intentionality in our sustained efforts to improve our chapter and its members socially, educationally, culturally, professionally, and spiritually. We maintain a spirit of continual improvement by proactively identifying areas of growth and learning from mistakes. We take individual and collective accountability for these mistakes and learn from them to improve ourselves and each other. We have a designated role of Academic Chairman that facilitates peer support and learning opportunities.
