Officium

Multi-quarter part-time
Identity

Officium's aim is to reinforce the practice of mindful public philosophy and advocate for those communities most endangered by epistemic injustice. We design and implement free, seminar-style philosophy workshops for various communities (shelters, therapy institutes, etc.) around the area. We arrange times to discuss a wide range of philosophical ideas with the key motivation of providing time for participants to engage with one another in a healthy environment on all topics—humorous, grave, or deeply personal.
