Stanford Spokes
The Stanford Spokes team hosts educational workshops and learning festivals at teaching sites such as Boys and Girls Clubs, public libraries, and nonprofit educational centers throughout the summer. Each student on the team will design a workshop on a topic they are passionate about, with a focus on providing students with hands-on, project-based learning opportunities outside their standard curriculum. Stanford Spokes is committed to creating enduring learning experiences long after finishing a day of workshops at a teaching site. The team donates school supplies requested by each teaching site so that students can continue engaging in hands-on activities that excite them in the future.
