Stanford Science Policy Group (SSPG)
Work with fellow Stanford students to develop policy recommendations to advocate to local or federal policymakers
The Stanford Science Policy Group (SSPG) aims to create a central hub to engage and educate scientists/non-scientists in policy, provide students with tools for science policy professional development, expose students to thoughtful speakers that work in various sectors of policy development (legislative, legal, local etc.).
Cardinal Commitment Mentor: SSPG Exec Team
Requirements
- Work as part of a working group over the academic quarter/year to develop a policy deliverable that will work to solve a local/state/federal issue.
