Animal Service Project

Assist with wildlife rehabilitation, facilitate therapy animal interactions, support pet adoption events, and care for rescued horses and farm animals.

Our Mission: Helping People through Helping Animals

We believe the well-being of communities and animals go hand in hand. Through community partnerships and volunteer initiatives, we help a variety of animals—from domestic pets and urban wildlife to farm animals—while fostering a compassionate environment where both animals and people thrive.

Our volunteers engage with animals like dogs, cats, rabbits, raccoons, opossums, foxes, sheep, chickens, horses, guinea pigs, and goats across our partner organizations. By providing care, facilitating therapeutic interactions, and supporting animal rehabilitation, we aim to make a lasting positive impact.

Our Ongoing Partnerships:

  • 🦆 Ohlone H.S. Wildlife Rehabilitation Center – work with native urban wildlife: Volunteers care for injured and orphaned native wildlife, aiding their recovery and return to the wild.
  • 🐴 Jasper Ridge Farm – work with therapy farm animals: Volunteers facilitate therapeutic interactions with therapy animals for individuals in need, such as children with disabilities, veterans, and families at the Ronald McDonald House.
  • 🐶🐱🐰 Pets In Need – work with dogs, cats, and rabbits: Volunteers assist with adoption events and care for dogs, cats, and rabbits during weekly shifts.
  • 🐎 Into The Light Horse Rescue and Sanctuary – work with rescued slaughter-bound horses: Volunteers provide care for rescued horses, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve.
  • 🐱 Nine Lives Foundation – work with shelter cats: Volunteers create toys and essential items for shelter cats and support the shelter through hands-on shifts.

Together, we’re making a difference for both animals and communities. Join us in helping animals and people thrive!
