The Tibetan Student Union (TSU) aims to create a warm, welcoming community for the Tibetan students of Stanford University, and engage and educate others about Tibetan culture and issues by discussing human rights, screening documentaries, and holding cultural events.

Biannually, TSU holds high school outreach programs (STORY: Stanford Tibetan Outreach Readying Youth & CARE: College Admission Readying Education) dedicated to aiding Tibetan high schoolers with the college application process, offering tours, providing financial aid advice, and connecting them to Tibetan mentors at Stanford.
