Students for Workers' Rights

Students for Workers' Rights is an activist group that organizes the Stanford student body around the issue of labor at Stanford. We recruit Stanford students to our organization, educate them on the labor issues occurring at Stanford, and organize them to do something about it. We develop close relationships with service workers and labor unions and assist them in their efforts during negotiations with Stanford. This involves organizing mass actions, circulating petitions, and generating media coverage.
