Stanford Women in Politics (SWIP)

Engage with local political leaders, work in the areas of policy and governance, and participate in networking events

SWIP cover

Stanford Women in Politics is an organization dedicated to developing a community of Stanford students interested in any sort of political, policy or legal field. All students who share this interest are welcome! We do this through educational teach-ins, professional development and networking events. We strive to support one another as we begin our journey into the professional world.

Stanford Women in Politics extends membership to any Stanford students committed to learning about and advancing political opportunities for women, regardless of their own gender identity.

Core leaders who commit to program development for three quarters are eligible for Cardinal Commitment.

Service required by group to fulfill a Cardinal Commitment: Students may engage with local political leaders, work in the areas of policy and governance and participate in networking events.
