Stanford Synapse

Organize peer support groups for community members with traumatic brain injuries to foster connection and provide emotional support

Stanford Synapses cover

Stanford Synapse is a student-run organization dedicated to supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries and empowering the next generation of patient-centered researchers, clinicians, and leaders in brain injury care. As the Stanford chapter of Synapse National, we serve individuals who have experienced traumatic brain injuries (TBI), strokes, concussions, or other neurological conditions. Our mission includes building a strong support network for individuals with brain injuries in our Glial program, raising awareness through our annual Stanford Synapse conference, and bringing leading experts in neurology to campus to share their insights.
