Stanford Effective Altruism

Support Stanford students in pursuing high-impact careers and thinking through ethical principles

Stanford Effective Altruism cover

Stanford Effective Altruism: Empowering Stanford students to tackle the world’s most pressing problems.

Stanford Effective Altruism offers students the resources and support to figure out how they can best help others. We aim to tackle some of the most challenging questions of our era: what global problems should we prioritize, what strategies have the best chances of solving them, and how can we best use our careers, resources, and time to contribute to these? We run fellowships, discussions, speakers, socials/dinners, conferences, career planning & advising, and many more opportunities to get involved!
