Stanford Breakfast Club

Cook and serve weekly hot breakfast for the Palo Alto Opportunity Center on Friday mornings

Stanford Breakfast Club cover

Stanford Breakfast Club is an awesome time for students to come together to cook, serve, and spend time with people experiencing housing insecurity at the Opportunity Center in Palo Alto. We get a chance to jam to sweet music while making breakfast at Menlo Church. We then take the food over to the Palo Alto Opportunity Center (the large red building right next to Town & Country) to serve breakfast and spend time with the incredible individuals at the center.

We serve breakfast at the Opportunity Center in Palo Alto every Friday morning. Students have the option of cooking breakfast, serving breakfast, or both—depending on their morning schedules. Our organization has a weekly commitment to the people at the Opportunity Center, so we provide the opportunity for students to participate on a weekly basis throughout the year in an off-campus direct service capacity.
