Stanford Breakfast Club
Stanford Breakfast Club is an awesome time for students to come together to cook, serve and spend time with people at the Opportunity Center in Palo Alto. We get a chance to jam to sweet music while making breakfast at the Menlo Park Presbyterian Church. We then take the food over to the Opportunity Center (the large red building right next to the Town'n Country) to serve breakfast and spend time with the incredible individuals at the center.
We serve breakfast at the Opportunity Center in Palo Alto every Friday morning. Students have the option of cooking breakfast, serving breakfast, or both—depending on their morning schedules. Our organization has a weekly commitment to the people at the Opportunity Center, so we provide the opportunity for students to participate on a weekly basis throughout the year in an off-campus direct service capacity.
Service required by group to fulfill a Cardinal Commitment: Stanford Breakfast Club meets 10 times a quarter on Friday mornings to cook and serve breakfast at the Opportunity Center; students should attend a minimum of 6 times per quarter.
