Sexual Health Peer Resource Center (SHPRC)
Staff the SHPRC office weekly and provide safer sex supplies and toys as well as sexual health and wellness peer counseling
The Sexual Health Peer Resource Center (SHPRC, pronounced “shipwreck”) is a safe, student-run space for Stanford folks to explore sexual wellbeing and positivity. We provide free or heavily subsidized safer sex supplies, toys, menstrual products, and gender-affirming resources. Our office is staffed by trained student peer-counselors who are happy to discuss any and all questions you might have. Our mission is to serve as a community space to discuss and promote healthier, positive, and pleasure-centered sex and sexuality across campus.
How can I become a counselor? Enroll in WELLNESS 191: Peer Education on Comprehensive Sexual Health (2 units), which is taught by SHPRC counselors and our faculty advisor, Marissa Floro. After taking the class and completing additional training, you’ll be able to counsel!
