Habla Tutoring Program

Multi-quarter part-time

Habla is an English as second language program for custodial staff, landscaping staff, and other Stanford community members. We match Stanford students with community members for one-on-one English language coaching, focusing on real-world skills. 
 
Service required by group to fulfill a Cardinal Commitment: Students should be an Habla language coach or part of the Habla Core Planning Team for three quarters (one full academic year).

Kellen Vu, ’23, is majoring in human biology and minoring in computer science. He is the director of communications for Habla, an undergraduate researcher in the Raymond Neurobiology Lab, and a teaching assistant for Frosh 101. Kellen is originally from Glendale, Arizona.
