The Georges Lurcy Charitable and Educational Trust offers fellowships to outstanding American doctoral students for advanced graduate study and research in France.
The Lurcy foundation invites the broadest range of topics without exclusion of any field of study, time period, or preference as to any department. However, the foundation prefers to fund research topics with contemporary relevance.

Eligibility

Doctoral candidates (PhD and DMA) who:

Are U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents
Will be enrolled at Stanford or at an educational institution in France during the tenure of the fellowship
Have a research project connected to contemporary French language, culture, or civilization
