- Haas Center for Public Service
The Education Partnerships Program at the Haas Center for Public Service offers a summer fellowship for Stanford University undergraduates focused on mitigating summer learning loss and advancing educational equity through community-engaged partnerships. Fellows work fulltime for approximately 10 weeks and receive an $8,000 stipend to support living and transportation expenses.
Summer placements take place with local community partners, including Foundation for a College Education, San Mateo County Libraries, and Menlo-Atherton High School, where fellows support youth learning, relationship-building, and educational transition experiences through direct service and collaboration with site staff. Across placements, fellows contribute to programming that strengthens students’ academic confidence, sense of belonging, and readiness for future learning.
