Doctors Without Borders Student Chapter at Stanford
The mission of the Doctors without Borders Student Chapter at Stanford is to advocate and fundraise for its parent organization. We aim to better prepare the Stanford student body for humanitarian, volunteering, and non-governmental service careers by increasing awareness about our parent organization and their work in providing international medical relief. Our Chapter fundraises for Doctors without Borders and advocates for its humanitarian relief work globally.
Service required by group to fulfill a Cardinal Commitment: There are two ways a student can pursue a Cardinal Commitment with doctors without Boarders: 1) Holding an executive position in the organization (Co-Presidents, Financial Officer, and Communications Officer). 2) For members who are not officers, a student needs to attend all meetings plus one major event hosted by the group per year (speaker, educational event, fundraiser, etc).
