Cardinal Commitment Mentor: Caroline Berzins

Requirement to complete a Cardinal Commitment: Design for America prepares teams of students to tackle social challenges over the course of Winter and Spring quarter, using the design thinking process. By deeply immersing themselves in facets of the community, DFA members are able to empathize with their users, and ultimately give back in an impactful manner. DFA holds weekly meetings in which teams can share their experiences and ideas, and the leadership team can equip members with the tools and motivation to move forward. Participants must continue for three quarters or more.
