Democracy Day

Democracy Day is Stanford's annual academic holiday falling on election day that focuses on fostering respectful civil dialogue, direct civic engagement, and reflective public service. The day is filled with events meant to increase democratic participation, dialogue, and community-building, ranging from our Dine and Dialogue dinner with faculty to Donuts and Democracy student-led conversations and keynote speaker. Volunteering with Democracy Day gives you the chance to support various student organizers across campus and make a meaningful contribution to public service on your day off!
