Cardinal Health Education Collaborative (CHEC)
Our mission is to provide innovative and effective comprehensive health education to teens to prepare them for life's challenges. Our curriculum equips teens with knowledge, skills, and tools to make sound choices and informed decisions for themselves.
Requirement to fulfill a Cardinal Commitment: We teach in middle school classrooms weekly throughout the year. In addition, there are opportunities to work on curriculum development and outreach during the summer and fall. For Cardinal Commitment, we will expect members to commit to at least three quarters of teaching, in addition to either sustained involvement with curriculum development or holding an officer position.

"The more these conversations occur, the more students will be able to admit to themselves and to others that they are struggling. This is the first step toward healthily managing life with a mental illness."
