The Bridge Peer Counseling Center is Stanford’s student run peer-counseling center. We offer anonymous and confidential 24/7 counseling to members of the greater Stanford community. Staffed by trained undergraduate and graduate Stanford students, we are here to listen and support. Students can get involved and become a staffer at The Bridge by completing two classes - EDUC 193P and EDUC 193A - and successfully completing an evaluation. We'd love to have you get involved - no prior experience is required.

Service required by group to fulfill a Cardinal Commitment: Students should be active staff members. That not only means coming to your 3 hour shift each week ready to be present and counsel, but also showing up to staff meetings, volunteering to run events and table, running workshops when one has the capacity, working on improving one's own counseling skills through continuing ed and practice and pushing The Bridge to continuously improve.
