Biodesign Innovation Course
Commit to improving healthcare for patients around the world through technology innovation. Over two quarters, multidisciplinary teams of Stanford students research and validate real-world medical needs, invent new health technology products to address them, and plan for their implementation into patient care. At the end of the course, motivated teams have the opportunity to compete for funding to continue developing their projects. Health technology funders help the teams evaluate and improve the commercial potential of their projects at the end of each quarter. The course is four academic units per quarter.
Eligibility
Graduate and postgraduate students interested in entrepreneurship and healthcare are encouraged to enroll.
Enrollment requires an application. Students must commit to a two-quarter sequence in the winter and spring.
