Asylum Collaborative at Stanford
The Asylum Collaborative at Stanford brings together students, physicians, and community law partners to provide medical and psychological evaluations to asylum-seekers across the Bay Area. In addition to forensic evaluations, our group works to connect new arrivals in the U.S. to essential services, such as healthcare, education, and obtaining basic needs like housing. These services can help to alleviate the significant challenges and barriers that asylum-seekers often face when navigating the complex U.S. immigration system.
