Seed is an exciting Stanford GSB-led initiative working to end the cycle of global poverty. We partner with entrepreneurs in emerging markets to build thriving enterprises that transform lives. As a Seed intern, you can work alongside talented entrepreneurs and contribute directly to a company’s future, its growth and job creation.

WHO: Stanford undergraduate and graduate students who are curious, eager, and inspired to make a difference.

WHAT: Exciting summer internship at a Seed Transformation Program company—a locally owned small- to medium-sized company that has engaged with Stanford Seed to help grow and scale their business.

WHEN: Summer 2022 for 8–10 weeks.

WHERE: Various countries in West Africa, East Africa, Southern Africa and India.

FUNDING: The undergraduate stipend rate is competitive with other Stanford-sponsored undergraduate summer internship programs of a similar length. Students who qualify for financial aid, may receive an additional $1,000 to $1,500. The graduate student stipend rate is competitive with other opportunities available to Stanford graduate students, including Stanford GSB students (view detailed funding information here)
